The Credit Repair Process
At CreditService 1, we specialize in helping our client’s increase their scores through credit improvement and education. We have an average success rate of 76% overall in removing negative items from a client’s credit report, and on average, we see an average increase of 40-60 points in 45 days and up to 100+ points over a 6 month period. However, you will start seeing improvement within the first 30-45 days. During our credit repair process, he increase can be even more significant if the client participates and follows the consulting advice given by CS1 from the beginning of the program. Following is a summary of what you can expect during the 6 months.
- Once we receive your new client package, you will receive confirmation from CreditService 1 new accounts department that your paperwork has been received and that your file has been started. If you are mailing in your paperwork, and you do not hear from us within a week after sending it, please call us immediately.
- A CS1 credit specialist will then assess your current credit situation in great detail. This assessment takes several hours, and becomes the strategy used in our program. The result of this assessment will be your Unique Credit Score Analysis described below.
- Depending on the strategy applied to your case, it could take anywhere from 4-6 weeks for you to receive the first set of updates showing the improvements due to the work CS1 has done on your case. All you need to do is mail us everything you receive from the credit bureaus. The progress of your account depends on you making sure to mail all paperwork to us within 3-5 days of receiving it. Remember, CS1 will not be able to give you an update on your account without this paperwork. Once we receive your updates, you will receive confirmation of receipt from CS1 within 3-5 business days. Again, calling during the 3 business day period may cause delay in starting the next cycle of your file. Remember to allow for mail time.
- It would be impossible for CS1 to know all the details about your credit profile. In order to maximize our efforts, we will need some more information from you. When you receive your first full update from each credit bureau (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion), we ask that you go through each trade line reporting, good and bad, and verify what is being reported about you. This Analysis will give you a detailed list of what needs to be worked on still if need be. Your job is to circle and make notes next to items that raise questions and to send us those reports as outlined above. This Verification Process should only be done ONE TIME, on the first full credit report that you receive from each credit bureau.
- Approximately 4 months into the process, CS1 will audit your file to make sure that progress is on track as planned. At this point we are waiting for the bureaus to send back the investigation results from the 2nd request.
-
Once you receive the third set of updated credit reports from the credit bureaus, mail/fax them in to our office as we have one last chance in the 6 month plan to see what will come off.
